Istari World Percussion is a highly energetic, educational, extremely fun interactive live performace that showcases drumming from around the world. Chadzilla and Ed Contreras tell the story of modern American music that evolved from roots in Africa and the Middle East to South America and the Caribbean.
Ed and Chadzilla have performed their show, "Drumming Around the World" at virtually every school and library along the front range over the years, as well as performances at Children's Hospital, local and regional festivals, and private events.
CHADZILLA & THE ASTEROIDS
Chadzilla and the Asteroids are one of Denver’s premier 80’s and dance party bands. They've played The Gothic Theater on New Years Eve, lead live karaoke at the Taste Of Colorado, and rocked to a sold out crowd at Red Rocks for the "Film on the Rocks" series. They have provided dance-crazed grooves & harmony-laden hits at the Denver Diabetes Walk, the Highland Street Fair, The Platte River Fest, Vail’s Street Beat Concert Series, Tunes for Barrett, Denver’s annual “Vegan Prom” at the Mercury Theater, and brought their high-energy performances to venues all over Colorado. They're no strangers to corporate events and have brought the house down for many a couple on their wedding day. It's an unforgettable party with Chadzilla and the Asteroids!
